All relationships teach us a lesson. Friends, lovers, mates, etc. fall into this catagory. Marriage is a choice of partner and these days it does not appear to last for life. There are so many things and ways in which we contribute to life that have absolutely nothing to do with having a mate, or not.

I am 55 and have never been married. I don't know what you mean by a fulfilling life. I have had a wonderful life and would not trade it for anything.

marriage is meant to start a family with and have companionship, but you can have friends and family and e single and have a very fulfilling life outside of work and the house as long as you go out with and keep in contact with people and help others and serve God . many people don't get married and have families and sex and have great lives.

Don't sit around thinking about sex. Concentrate on getting an education and a job and supporting yourself and getting out on your own. Then read 1 Corinthians 7: actually the whole chapter talks about the gift of singleness and that those who get married have tribulation in their flesh but I am sparing you. In verse 40 for widows they are happier it says if they remain single.
With marriage comes children and problems that single people don't have. Work on developing close friend ships with people who share you goals and values. We do need friends to be happy but we can live without sex. Actually I think it means less problems.

Serve the LORD your God with all your mind, soul, and strength. This is the greatest commandment. And love your neighbor as yourself. Jesus says this is what the Law hangs on. Fulfill this and you can keep all the other commandments as well (don't lie, steal, covet, commit adultery, etc.) But first repent of your sins that you have committed against God and ask Him to forgive you and trust Jesus to save you on Judgment Day.

assuming there are no kids involved, the limitations are practically nonexistant. you can do lots of traveling, see all parts of the world and educate yourself on their cultures. become a regular theatre patron and enjoy the shows. invest some of that free time to volunteering or mentoring underpriviliged children. just find something to do that will make you have a positive impact to those around you.

have you ever considered the priesthood or another religious vocation? It seems like there is a need for them now.
