I have to interview an author for a class assignment but I'm clueless on how to find someone and conduct the interview, can anyone please tell me how to find an author that I could interview?

I think I'd use the Internet for author Web sites. Then when you find them use their contact page to email or call them. Another possibility is to contact publishing companies. Some of the smaller ones may have ways to give you access to authors for this type of request. Bookstores may also have opportunities for authors to meet with the public. Good luck!
