You just have to be smart enough to find the bathroom in the oval office, Everything else they will give you instructions for.

I.Q has nothing to do with leadership. Most high level
I.Qs are researching, teaching, healing. Leadership is
a natural instinct which builds up from birth and is highly
influenced by the environment the person has lived in
all of his life. Leadership can be influenced or taught,
contrary to an I.Q. which cannot. Obviously there are
leaders who have an above average I.Q. but they
must learn to use this virtue to it‘s best within their
chosen field. PS. No reason why a chicken farmer
should not have a high I.Q.! Alexander Flemming‘s
father was a chicken farmer and had little upbringing
when young. Look where he ended up, a Nobel prize
award in 1945.

If Georgie can be president anyone can, and God bless Georgie
he only has an IQ of the average athlete in the Special Olympics.
Many of the people in the Special Olympics are proud of his achievements. But others from the Special Olympics are embarrassed and don't want to admit Georgie is one of them. A chicken farmer can do anything just set your mind to it! Georgie was once just a retarded runner and now he's President! The sky's the limit! Go for the gold!

Leadership has nothing to do with I.Q. . Some of the worst " leaders " I've incountered were very smart , college grads, but had no common sense , couldn't be trusted , felt they were superior to the men under them , including senior NCO's with combat experience .
If you'r trustworthy , honest , care about the people, all the people and willing to bust your -ss , go ahead .
Hey , an over educated peanut farmer with no ability whatsoever got to be president .
What a disaster he was .

With your extensive background in the
poultry business you would be well suited
to run for either the Senate or a seat in
the House of Representatives. I would
estimate that after one or two terms there
it will be possible for you to amass enough
support to run for the office of Governor
of your state or even President. It just
takes a lot of money and knowing the
right people to grease the skids for you.
If you have an extensive criminal background,
I would not waste the time and effort to
run for public office unless, of course, you
live in Washington, DC.

Well, occupation doesn't matter. IQ or Intelligence Quotient does not accurately reflect how smart someone is. I'd hope an "average" IQ would be the passing grade, but apparently not. Bush couldn't even understand "loathed"...wow. Regardless of liberal or conservative views, our president is a moron. Me, I am a paralegal, and hope to run for office one day as well. Hopefully, most of us REAL AMERICANS will realize that one does not need a Law Degree, Masters, Doctorate or other type of higher-education to be smart enough to run this country. Those IVY LEAGUERS HAVE MESSED THINGS UP ENOUGH ALREADY.

that's funny.
i have a friend who works at a chicken farm and i'd be happy to see him in a position of power like that.
i say IQ doesn't matter all that much and you should go for it.
who knows better than farmers? nobody, i say.
not too many people anyway. or maybe there are lots who know better.
make sure you study up on what you think you'll need to know and work hard, that's all.

I would say that as a chicken farmer, you are immanently qualified to run for public office - the higher the better.

As long as you have an average IQ or better you can lead. Leadership isn't just about IQ. Leadership is a quality on its own so you can be a great leader with an average IQ and a pretty lousy leader with a genius IQ. Good luck in your run.

I tend to think it's more about charm and charisma my friend, intelligence plays a part of course, but not a massive one. As long as you can think quick on your feet and have a knack for catching the public's imagination then the political world is your oyster.
And also bear in mind if you don't feel, maybe, incredibly brainy, just take note of what other MP's do.......get yourself numerous advisors who will tell you how to conduct yourself, what to say and how to dress.
