Regardless of how offensive those remarks or may not have been - and they weren't nearly as bad as the Shawn Green comments he made a couple of years ago (Jews and money, ha ha) - I have to admit that I'm glad he's gone for whatever reason.

Anybody else happy/sad to see him go?

He never should have been hired to begin with. I never liked him.

FOX's coverage of, not just sports, but just about anything, is pathetic. Does anybody really care? I usually listen to the WFAN radio guys with the sound on the TV turned off, I get better coverage that way.

So how is Orthodox Jew Shawn Green talking about perceptions of Jews and money bad? So are you the anti-semetic one who would refuse him the right to be a Jew and talk about the Jewish steriotype that so many people have? Get over it.

The world is full of too many bigots and thinned skinned people. I don't know anyone, myself included that doesn't have a little of both inside of them. Anyone who says they don't is either an idealistic dreamer or a lier. Maybe the networks need to screen their applicants more closely. As for Lyons, who cares, he doesn't pay my bills.

Steve Lyons was so annoying to listen to. I'm glad he's gone.
