Go to http://www.boardgamegeek.com/game/13#stats and look at the stats... it will show how many people have recorded that they have played the game as well as the number of plays this month and a lot of other interesting information.

Yes. I have played standard Settlers, the eight-player variant, Cities & Knights, Nurnburg, Stone Age, Cheops, Alexander the Great, Starfarers, The Card Game and Starship. I even have a computer version. Some variations work better than others but all are worth trying.

Yes, I play frequently and it's one of my favorites. A friend of mine even has the 3-D version which is very cool. One thing I like about Settlers is that, while there is strategy, there's also enough luck that even beginners can do well and enjoy the game. I'm an experienced player, but my sister kicked my a** the first time she played.

Yes. I have played the board (well, ok, hex-tile) game.
Settlers, Seafarers, & Knights.
Everything but the card game.
