Do not open any links, this is a scam! If you believe you have won a foreign lottery and are willing to pay money to get money, I have a bridge to sell, Cheap! If you have to pay to get winnings, read the fine print, this is what it says: scam scam scam scam scam scam send me your hard earned money scam scam scam!!!!!!

It's a scam. Do you remember entering a British lottery? If you don't, then you didn't win. I used to work in banking and saw this type of thing all of the time. The phone number that they give you will probably be answered by someone who sounds very convincing. They may even send you a cashier's check. DON'T DO IT. The check will not clear and you will be responsible for the financial backlash. That is if they even send you a check. They may just want you to cover the fees outright and you will never hear from these people again. SAVE YOUR MONEY!!!

I got one almost the same. It is a scam. Do not EVER send money to some stranger that sends you an email. Do not give out any information like bank account number or ID number (in US I mean Social Security number...don't know what the equivalent there would be).

IT'S A SCAM. NEVER, EVER SEND YOUR MONEY in response to a message such as this.
If you win something, you first have to enter it. Also, if you really win a legitimate prize, they pay you, you do not pay them.
Also, beware of official-looking emails supposedly from some back or another that ask you for personal information such as account or soc. security numbers. Banks never do this.

Mail them a letter telling them to take the amount of the fee out of your winnings, and send the rest to you. The amount will be zero. With those guys everybody is a winner, but they're the only ones who ever see any money.
