Yes, or you can soak it with used coffee grounds in the sink.

probably so...depending on the fabric...you can buy rit dye at wal-mart or probably the grocery store...you just put the sweater in the washing machine with the dye..you may have to use more than one package because black is so dark...but it works great and just run your machine through another wash cycle when your done..it doesn't stain your machine...it may turn some of the plastic a little grey..but it will not stain your clothes...i dyed some curtains..it worked great..just read your lables...good luck!!!

My opinion? Buy another one!
As Feng Shui teaches, one must make room for new, good things in our lives, by giving away old, broken things.
Give away your bleached sweater to someone who needs it (maybe a homeless person, you'll make him/her happy), buy a new one for - hey, you'll be happy too - and I'm sure the guys in the store will be too, for making a sale!

And this advice comes from someone (OK, me...) that struggled with her "gathering" impulse for a long time:) But I'm constantly working on it!

Buy new things! Don't bother fixing it, you'll spend more time and money trying to fix it... :)

Simplest way is to leave it out in the moonlight. My understanding is that since the moon is the opposite of the sun, the moonlight will reverse the effects of sun bleaching. I've never tried it myself, but it makes sense to me. Good luck! :)

try going to a fabric store and asking about a special dye just for that reason

if you dye it, and leave it soaking extra long, the dye will all be basically the same color in the end. Just buy some black dye and re-do the coloring.. otherwise, there's not much you can do about it sadly
