THE GAS COMPANY YOU USE WILL SEND A QUALIFIED PERSON TO CHECK YOUR LINES FOR LEAKS AND THE OVERALL SAFETY OF YOUR GAS SYSTEM.OR AT LEAST THEY DO HERE.

The gas company should have done that when they reconnected the meter.They also should have lit all pilot lights and made sure everything was working properly. Call them back out!!!!!

why was the meter removed? if it was removed for non payment then you are responsible for the cost. if it was removed for an upgrade or something like that then the utility co is responsible for the cost. at any rate, the utility co needs to do the test
