I am going to Lancaster Penn., any ideas on cool things to go and see?

Go to a farmer's market. Buy some shoo-fly pie and some hand stiched quilts. Just drive around. There are a lot of neat covered bridges to see. You'll find things to do. Check out this website, it has ideas, maps and links to hotels.

I don't think they'll be too friendly, what with the recent events at the schoolhouse in Lancaster. They'll probably be semi-depressed still.

there are tons of historical buildings and little museums in the area if you're into that... the shopping is great... the food is awesome... the pretzel house... and don't forget all the great outdoors in the rolling surrounding mountains... hiking, horse riding, biking and fishing....
