the trust never comes back, you can live together still feel the love for one another but the thought, are they cheating,is still there, always and forever, you just have to decide to let it go forget they cheated and try to push the mistrust out of your mind, not an easy thing to do

If he wore a chastity belt (for men) and was on camera 24/7 and had a chip implanted in his torso so you could track him with GPS and watch his every move... then hook him up to electrodes that told you when his heartrate rose or if he got excited any time a lovely gal walked by... also keep him connected to a lie detector all the time that shocked him when he lied...
Divorce might be easier. Dont do the anal thing like that other chick said.... LIVING WELL IS THE BEST REVENGE
SUBMISSIVE DOES NOT MEAN DOORMAT

You never full regain that trust. You may choose to overlook the fact that they cheated because you don't want to leave them, but I don't think anyone ever recovers from it.

It takes time & lots of patience from both people.
The person has to prove themselves to be trustworthy all over again. It's hard because the person that cheated is under constant scutiny, rightfully so!!!!!!!

I've been there and I'm not sure you can. You might be able to if he is sincerely sorry and regrets it. If you go to counseling together and separately, you may be able to get past it.
