I'm in SE London an believe it or there is a huge colony of wild parakeets that live somewhere close to Eltham palace, and it was only last week that I actually took the time to sit and watch how quickly a flock of these parakeets (50 or more) pecked their way through what must have been several pounds of horse chestnuts .... they like 'em

It's called a horse chestnut because of the horse-shoe shaped mark left if you break a leaf off.

PIGS EAT ACORNS THEY LET PIGS OUT ON THE NEW FOREST TO EAT THE ACORNS BECAUSE ACORNS ARE POISON TO THE PONY'S MAYBE THEY EAT CONKERS TOO.
