Democrats are always complaining about a timeline in Iraq to made known. Why can't liberals just let the military handle Iraq and Afghanistan intead of trying to be war time advisors?

If the war were free they wouldn't care. They only want to know so they can figure out how soon it will be possible to get more socialized benefits from the government. Social Progressives of the Democratic party only want free benefits and religion to be outlawed.

Because "When we're good and ready to leave" isn't a suitable answer for a timeline of a war that most Americans disapprove of. Democrats at large don't believe that the current administration has a plan to withdraw or even a clear objective any longer. They feel that something this dangerous and this expensive to America can't be taken so lightly.

"al-Maliki [the Iraq prime minister] told Bush he was concerned because he had been hearing that the United States was giving him a two-month timeline to operate on his own." and Bush said that was not true.

Ok, you know where this "rumor" comes from? Republican Senator John Warner, head of the Armed Services Committee, and James Baker III, a former Secretary of State under Bush 41 and the head of the Iraqi Study Group, a committee which is giving the President recommendations on what to do in Iraq. These are all Republicans.

Buffman your a sheep----baaaa--baaaaaa..If I asked you for an open ended payment for a product you don't need, want, or see any benefit from ---would you agree to pay for it? If I offered no bid contracts with monies coming out of your bank account--wouldn't you like someone overseeing the results? If someone told you to jump off a bridge would you do it just because you thought the person had a good idea?

This Administration does not allow the Military to handle these wars!!! This Administration throws you out of your military position is you do not agree with their lies and assumptions!! This Administration is full of chickenhawks who have no military service in their background--only deferrments. Find another scapegoat for your beliefs---you clueless lapdog!!

If the military was handling it correctly it would be a different story.
If it was a situation that could be handled with military it might be a different story.

I wasnt aware that republicans were the only ones who knew the only way to do things. Maybe if they had done it right to begin with the democrats wouldnt be winning in November and finishing the job the right way.

Simple. When the presence of your troops is worsening matters, you start looking for a way out. The Democrats are not responsible for the 'chaos' in Iraq.

I think we'd all like to know when we are leaving. The military included. Its not just a timeline, its some indication of the fact they know what they are doing...an end game strategy. Something besides the pablum they feed us now.

The Bush administration can't get anything done. The Iraqi army needs to know that they are going to have to take control of their own country soon. They are currently letting the USA absorb the risk and cost because we are stupid enough to do it.

What does it really matter? There weren't any terrorist there before we arrived anyway.

Also you should refrain from generalizing, it serves no one.

And everyone is entitled to their own opinion, whether you like it or not.
