It's a choice. Everything that you do in life, shapes your life. Even the "small" things.

The choice is yours. You are given your life and parents to help guide you through the years until you start going to school and
get out into the world. Then the 3 most important things are: Time
which you have to use wisely. (this represents God who is the Alpha & Omega) Decisions: Some easy, some hard but just to chose to get up & open your eyes is a decision with unknown outcome. (God made a decision to come to Earth as a human in
the form of Jesus) & Secrets: This is the Unknown things about
you, good or bad they make up your id (this is the Spirit or Holy Ghost the Unknown After Death of the Body). Then everything you took in through your senses from Birth to Death is gathered &
this is your soul and you then re-live every second of your life over again without being able to change anything but with the awareness of what you are going through. The bright light that you hear about is the light at the time of your original birth as you
exit the birth canal. This would continue until death and then do it
over & over for an eternity if you are good.

The choice is ultimately yours. But it's hard to believe that when you're in the thick of things or when things just seem to fall apart all around you.

Happiness is a choice. You can truly choose to view the glass half full or as half empty.

There are, however, contributing factors that may aversely affect a person's life, until he/she realizes that happiness is a decision. For example, bad parenting. If a child grows up with negative feedback, and bullying, he/she may not be as confident to take risks, make friendships, etc.

It is a choice. Even people who are in terrrible homes can rise above their situation to succeed.....
True case: A friend has 3 brothers, all grew up with an uneducated single mother in the projects, all 4 have master degrees and successful lives.....By Choice, all 4 chose succes.
True Story!!

We have much less choice than most people 'believe'.
Your genetics determine to a high degree which choices you are able to make, and that also determines whether you believe what people feed you (like religion, politics and similar crap), or whether you try to figure out your own path. But even figuring things out is genetically determined.
I know you won't like that, but the truth is often reviled by those unable and unwilling to accept it. I can already see all the thumbs down which you are programmed to give to things you don't like!!! ;-)

Negative thinking is a fact of life. Our thoughts are sowing many seeds all the time. When we plant them with intent, they blossom as the affairs of our lives. We are in charge of this garden. No one else can wish us ill will, that is up to our own fears to manifest in negative growth.

Yes/No. Yes, because a person can be mislead and taught all the wrong things. No,because a person still has the freedom to choose that's the #1 thing that (GOD) gave us all the freedom to choose.....

half and half, i mean its really scary if you honestly ask yoursellf, what if? One small thing you do can ruin your life forever, That doesnt really answer your question, does it? I dunno i think that some peoples lives relly are meant to be messed up, like foster kids... they get brought into this world by their crackhead parents, then they have to be raised in 10 different homes and will most likely be miserable or in jail. its not fair
