That's not the fashion now, people are wearing different colors (more intense, bright shades) on toes, and neutrals on hands. I prefer to match, myself, and usually wear red because it's what my husband likes, or purple, because it's my favorite color.

No i dont agreed with the medicurist. That's was pretty old fashion. Usually toe nails use darker color while hands with lighter color. For myself personally i liked french medicure design the most suite hand & toe together.

I think that its good to have simmilar colors, like matching two pastle shades. Generaly I think its important to have nail polish thats not going to clash, either with your toes or your wardrobe. Or you can always french your fingers and paint the toes, which is what i often get if get my nails done. I think the important thing is that your happy with it.

I always match nail and toes. I also go by season too. light colors in the spring, bright in summer, and dark in fall and winter. But lately I've been doing the french manicure look.

Well, I don't think it matters if your feet are covered...I'd try to match though if you wear sandals and things that show your toes off. I usually like purples and blues but if it's a nicer occasion I'd choose like a pink or mauve color and not something as bold as a blue might be.

I rather paint them to match.
I usually use shades of pink or beige or a color that matches my lips. Not much into anything too intense.
I wanna try painting each nail a differnet color (using 5 different colors in totally for everything). I've seen it and it's pretty. :P
Now that I waitress, though, I can't paint my nails. :(

I wear the same color for both, I just dont like mixing the two. I usually wear different shades of pink for both. My skin is dark, so I cant really wear red or anything like that.

I personally don't match as I love painting my nails so much.
Generally my hands are painted glossy black (been doing this well before Mischa & co made it popular) or bright, bright pink. My toenails are usually done in pale colours.
