All the mail being returned to me in the catagory " returned to sender " has come from the postmaster at the server the e-mail was sent to. Although I have never sent any such e-mail in the first place.

I am receiving approximately 30 of these e-mails per day

Don't reply!

A lot are trying to find out which email accounts are live and being used.

If you reply they know your using it and you'll end up with 10 times more spam.
Never use the 'unsubscribe' as well unless it's a very well known company, they use that the same way.

Use your spam filter to send them to bulk mail and delete them every few days, you might want to review them just to make sure you didn't miss anything important.

Never open anything from anyone you don't know, don't belive emails from banks, ebay, your credit card company, etc.
Always treat it like it's a scam and ONLY log on to any account after going to the main site, don't use the links on the email.

Something has got to change with email, it's all getting out of hand.

NO! in basic terms ignore approximately them. I actually get 3 or 4 of those a week and that they are scams. I worked at a monetary corporation the place a pair extra in an extremely 40k examine from a "lottery" they don't submit to in concepts entering into and it became a foul examine. The lottery often needs you to pay them first for "expenses" or to furnish them your individual documents. do not do it! and likewise, it extremely is against the regulation for people to collect lottery winnings from distant places international places.

You and me both mate. I rung my ISP and they said it is rife at the mo. Just delete without opening or send to your spam folder. It's a pain in the bum I know, but some people just need to get a life instead of mucking about with spamming.

Spammers will use other people's email addresses in the sender field, and someone has probably used yours. They send the spam, you get the flax.

Sometimes I even get spam from myself.

I reckon its someone spamming others using your email address. these people do not need to log on using your email account at all.
So report this to your ISP (or work!!) system administrator immediately to get this looked at! Else set up a spam catching with your email software.
