i started my quite early age 10 to be precise, it wasnt really regular. i sometimes skip months and when it comes ,it could be dark. on. ive never felt any pain or discomfort and my flow is not heavy. however i notice that on the last day, ill feel a sharp pain and few drops of blood follows, cleaning myself later i discovered small flesh . i thought it was blood cloth , i rinsed the blood off it and it was like a piece of thin meat. this used to happen till i graduated from university . now i dont experience the last day sharp pain with little flesh cut again . but what was that?

This could just be due to you sloughing off the lining of your uterus. When you have your period, you are shedding the lining that your uterus built up for a baby. When you do not get pregnant, your body sheds the lining and builds up another one for the next month and possible fertilization. When you shed your lining, you are shedding both blood and bits of tissue. I cannot explain the pain however. Every woman is different and experience different things. I have shed tissue during my periods before. Do not fret....it could all be normal but if you are still curious ask your gyno.

Honestly there is no way for anyone but a doctor to tell you what that was. I have never heard of flesh being passed in a period. Maybe it looked like flesh but was something else. Since it doesn't happen anymore hopefully it was nothing serious. If it happens again you should definitely go to the doctors.
