your best bet on playing vintage snes games is to pick up the new nintendo wii coming out next month. Nintendo is going to be offering nes, snes, and n64 along with some sega genisis and 32x games to be downloaded and played for a small fee. i think they range from $1.99 to 6.99, depending on what system they were released on. Thats probably going to be your best bet, unles you want to pick up a used snes at some game store.
Best of luck!

Zophar is a good site to find emulators on.
As for roms, I suggest downloading Bitcomet and
downloading a game pack. Once you've downloaded one, you can pick and see what games you want, and trash the other ones. Plus, Bitcomet makes a point of keeping their warez virus-free. I know I sound like a BC advertisement, but I've got every NES and SNES game made, BC is the engine that I used to download them from.

Don't play old games from your PC anymore, it's not worth it and you could likely lose them. Wait for the Nintendo Wii to come and you can buy NES, Super NES, N64, Genesis, and TurboGrafix games through their Virtual Console by using the Wii Points card you can get in any store.

I don't know of a site like everyvideogame.com for SNES games.
If you want to play SNES games on your computer, you'll need to download an emulator and some ROM images. You can find lots of emulators for download at http://www.zophar.net (ZSNES is probably the best one). ROMs are technically illegal to download if you don't own the games, but you can find a lot of them at http://www.romnation.net (games made by Nintendo are harder to come by, as they are known to shut down websites with their copyrighted material).
