It happens a lot of the time. The bleeding happens because a virgin has a thin peice of skin in her vagina called the hymen. The first time she has sex it rips and that causes the bleeding.
It can rip other ways (rough activities like horse back riding will rip it) and that is why sometimes the first time hurts.

Not every virgin bleeds the first time. Usually they lose that problem from masturbating long before the first have intercourse. If you are worried about it and are planning on loosing your virginity then take along an extra pair of panties and a pad to put in them. Most importantly, use a condom and have a good time.

No. Sometimes the hymen is broken before her first sexual encounter. It can happen if she accidentally straddles something too roughly, such as climbing over a wooden fence and slipping, which happened to a friend of mine. Some girl's hymens have been known to break while riding a horse, which is largely why the side-saddle was invented.

It is a myth that if a girl doesn't bleed then she isn't a virgin. A girl bleeds while her first intercourse because the hymen is broken but it may also break break while cycling, doing heavy exercise and such other strenuous activities.Yes, most of the girls do bleed while their first intercourse if their hymen is still in tact.

Well personally, I didn't bleed my first time but my friend told me she did. It depends on if the girls hymen is still intact or not. I've also heard that even sometimes when the hymen is still intact, the girl doesn't bleed. So I think maybe it just depends on the person.

no, not everyone has a hymen, some girls break it if they use a tampon, some have incomplete hymens that only cover part of the vagina... so the answer is NO... you won't know if she is a virgin by if she bleeds or not, you will have to trust her word & if you dont trust her you need a new girlfriend or you are just a jealous guy to begin with.

No. Years ago before the invention of tampons, maybe it was more common. Some girls have hymens that are more intact than others. It's an individual thing.

No, if the girl has done lots of exercises and tears her hymen before, then no blood will be shown. Nevertheless, virgin girls will feel the pain.

Girl's ONLY bleed when their hymen is popped, torn or busted! And that doesn't happen 100% of the time!
