My cousin is a dental hygienist and she wears scrubs. Really cute ones too. They have Winnie the Pooh or Strawberry Shortcake. There are a lot out there. She does a lot of little kids. It helps to calm down. Most kids are scared to go to the dentist.

If you live in USA, I think most places will allow you to wear what you feel you must wear, or else they might be held accountable for the D word (discrimination) That's a good question though. Call an office and ask if it would get in the way, the only reason why I think you couldn't is if it interfered with your work.
