why does the Left fight Christianity more than it fights islam? Christianity may not be 100% tolerant of all the Left's practices, but islam is far farther down the right side than Christianity is. if george bush, your worst enemy, was a muslim, what would you think about islam? many people say that hate islam, but islam is more accepted than Christianity is, even with all the violence that muslims are committing. why? will the Left stand up to islam when the Christians are gone?

by the way, the fact that most of the world is against Christianity, is exactly what Christians were told to expect from the world, and even from people who call themselves Christian, even if it teaches to love your enemy. islam teaches to hate your enemy.

stephanie, if you show me how a religion that permits its followers to lie to infidels can be peaceful, i might believe you.

I got a Little mixed up but am going to answer: "Why Islam is hated more than Christianity".
Neither religion is hated any worse than any other. What you are referring to is fanatical islam which, should be shunned, killed and buried. With a doctrine predicated on killing everyone that does not think like them, they should only be mentioned in the same breath with Timothy McVey Chistianity.
Both religions are peaceful. It's the fanatics that you should be focused on.

If I thought you understood the concept of the religion of Islam I might try to answer with a thoughtful remark.
I think once you understand the different between the religion and the people who have hijacked it for their own purposes it will be easier.
I personally have no problem with christianity I just dont feel it has any place in government.

The left see Chritianity as a weekness. Believing in a power that is higher than they are is not fathomable to them. Nor is anything black or white right or wrong. Everything is in a gray area. Well there is one thing they see as totally wrong and that's any and everything Bush does. And if you disagree with them.

I'm amazed at how well versed you seem to be in world religions, and interested in finding your specific points of reference in Muslim holy books.
Cite your s p e c i f i c references from the Quran, please. I'd really like to see where it says it's a good thing to hate.
All sarcasm aside:
I do object to you calling me a Christian-hater. I don't hate Christians, I just abhor those so-called Christians who have hijacked the religion to promote divisiveness & hate. (Thanks for the turn of phrase, Stephanie)

Once again, we have a right winger posting crap that they can't back up with a shred of truth.
Perhaps you can tell me why Bush says he wants Osama dead or alive one day, and now says he isn't concerned about him at all? Care to answer that genius?

There is no reason to fight Islam. The ones you should be after are the extremists.
Just like there is no reason to fight all Catholics, only the extremists in Ireland.

We know muslims intent.
Only God know BUSH-
If GOP are such fine Christians how did they create such monster thinking?
Why are we at War.
Because a BUSch lied and GOP backed his lies.
Even GOP are distancing themselves from this loser.
May the GOP rest in peace---no you are to busy creating more turmoil in this world.
November-an end is in sight.
