"Rear Window" was my favorite, but I like them all.
James Stewart was great....
I remember seeing him in one of "The Thin Man" movies... he looked like he was only 20 years old at the time.
Was "It's A Wonderful Life" a Hitchcock film?

Vertigo, because it's Hitchcock's best film. I also like North by Northwest, The Lady Vanishes, The 39 Steps, Notorious, Frenzy, Strangers on a Train and Psycho

Hitchcock was a genius, pure and simple. I love the psychological aspect of the films. You can always sense the terror and confusion in the main characters. Brilliant. I love Vertigo best, North by Northwest next, but I think the most underrated one is The Man Who Knew Too Much.

Rear Window
Because it is so realistically possible. How many times have you seen something in a window and wonder if what you just saw actually happened?! I think Hitchcock captured reality and possiblity in this movie. No espionage, no supernatural. Don't get me wrong, I love all of Hitchcock's work. It's just that this one is the most plausible and my fave.

My favorite is "Marnie" starring Sean Connery & Tippi Hedren. The movie is a mystery surrounding a secret, intrigue, suspense and romance all centered around a suicidal kleptomaniac. A very powerful, shocking and unexpected ending.
