We go in Fri to see if she has turned yet as of a week ago she was still breech.

Im worried because she is breech, I will need a c-section, and im an hour from the hospital. SO Im scared I wont get there in time to get a c-section.

Also I think Im doing the nesting thing. Yesterday I wanted to clean everything. Its funny my 5 year old is also doing it she was cleaning anything and everything she could find. Normaly she wont help at all, but she was all over the house i couldnt get her to stop. LOL

It could just be Braxton-Hicks contractions giving you your back aches & making your belly tight. This is pretty common for this time period.

You may also completely efface (cervical thinning) within the next few weeks as well as dilate several centimeters. Your discharge may fluctuate toward the end too, because of rising & falling hormone levels and stress.

Since this is your second baby, you will probably progress faster than the first; however being breech, I do sincerely hope that the doctors have prepared for the strong probability that you will not be able to deliver vaginally...it CAN be done, but it's neither pleasant nor 100% successful....so be prepared for that possibility. If the baby's not flipped, they may schedule you a week or so early to do a C-section, with you being so far away from a hospital.

Just remember, every pregnancy is different - just because you didn't experience any of this with your 1st dosen't mean that it won't happen with this (or subsequent) babies.

Good luck!!

Wow, you have a lot to deal with! A 5 year old, a breach pregnancy and now all these symptoms that are worrying you to death. No wonder you are upset! I do not blame you one bit. Try to take a deep, cleansing breath ( you know what those are!) and relax. Try to find the time to take care of yourself and get some rest or at least some private time to yourself so that you can clear your mind and regroup.
Okay, having said all that, back to your questions.
Yes, the discharge or lack of it is normal. Your body is nuts when you are pregnant and at the mercy of so many hormones that are busy causing your life to pretty much run amuck. Seems a lovely trick that Mother Nature has played on us. You will experience all kinds of changes in what is normal for you in the way of a discharge. The only time you need to pay attention and call the doctor is if the discharge has a bad odor, or if it contains blood. This late in your pregnancy you could see something called a bloody show. It is just the mucus plug that has been blocking your cervix all this time. As your cervix dilates it slips out. It is just a bit of mucus with some streaks of blood in it. Some women notice this and some women never even see it.
You are still a few weeks early to be having the symptoms that you describe ( you usually do not deliver until sometime between 37 and 42 weeks). Anything before 37 weeks is considered premature labor. I think that given all the symptoms that you are having you should call your doctor and ask to be see seen.
I am most concerned about the breech presentation. Has your doctor talked to you about what they intend to do about this? Are they planning a Cesarean section? Are you aware of the concerns that go along with a breech birth? I would assume that your doctor has talked to you about these things but if for some reason he or she has not be sure to ask them.
You could be having priming contractions, that is always a possibility.
Please try to find some way to relax and take care of yourself, that is the best thing you can do for yourself and for the baby. Do you have someone to watch your 5 year old for you? Where does your husband stand in all this? ( Sorry for assuming that you are married, guess I should have said "the baby's father").
Most of all try to take care of yourself and not get upset. Just take the steps that are necessary. Do not let them put you off when you call, just tell them that you want to be seen. Insist if you need to. You are the best judge of what is going on with your own body.
Oh, by the way, no, you can not actually feel the process of dilation. What you feel is the contractions that cause the dilation. Believe it or not the cervix is almost totally devoid of any nerves.
Please do take care of yourself. I will be thinking about you.
Love and Blessings

Wow, I think having the white discharge is the thing that is not typical. I certainly wouldn't worry if it stopped. Are you having a clear jelly-like discharge? If you are this could be your mucous plug. If your mucous plug is coming out then it usally means you are dialating, but labor could be anywhere from days or weeks away.
Also, when my babies dropped I felt lots more pressure in my back and lower abdomen. I even go some sharp shooting pains in my vaginal area. This is your muscles and ligament stretching and is pretty normal.
I am curious, are they planning a c-section due to the bayb being breech, or will they try to turn him or deliver him in the breech position?
I hope all goes well with you! Oh, if you go for a walk and the pains get worse, it may be labor, if they do not, it may be just braxton hicks contractions.
Good luck!!!!

No discharge at this point is normal. You can't really feel the cervix dialating, what you usually feel are the Braxton-Hichls contractions and the pressure of the baby.
If the baby has not turned by now you should try to do some exercises that will persuade the baby to turn around.
1) Kneel on the floor and lean forward with your arms out, as if you were washing the floor. 5-10 times. (Or actually wash the floor if it needs to be cleaned!)
2) Lie on your back with a bunch of pillows underneath your behind, and slowly stretch your legs upward. 5-10 times.

Decrease In Discharge During Pregnancy

I know how yo feel my two pregnancy were totally different. With my first son I was two week over due and they induced me. With my second I started to slowly dilate and thin out at 32 weeks. I was in slow progress labor. Then I had preaclampisa so they were going to induce me when I was 37 weeks but when I got to the hospital I was dilated to 6 to 7 and I delivered in less than an hour and a half. The epidural didn't even have time to work.

I am not sure. The only sure signes of labor are:

Broken water
contractions less than 5 min apart
contractions lasting longer than a min.
no baby movement

With a breech baby I would not know about the movement, but Just watch for the other signes. You have a little bit until your due, get that baby to move. good luck and congrats.

I'm not sure about the discharge issue , but it sure sounds to me like you should be packed and ready to go . And I'm pretty sure i could feel myself starting to dilating specially when i sat flat on my rearend and leaned back a bit . my daughter was in the breech position the week before i went in to labor i did alot of stretching and squatting and the hubby and i took turns rubbing my belly in the direction we wanted the baby in , at time off birth everything went smooth . and since you might have about a week left have you thought about cooking ? lol . i did alot the week before i popped sure did come in handy the first few weeks we were home from the hospital .. Best Wishes

You can lose your mucus plug hours or weeks before going into labor. Call your doctor.
