They oppose civil rights at every turn. They want to over legislate your life and take away each and every civil liberty.
They started innocuously with laws for our "safety". Then they start in with "political correctness". Pretty soon our freedoms have been severely curtailed.

Can you be more vague? EVERY civil rights legislation? First, I am sure you are exaggerating and second, a conservatives idea of civil rights is often a far cry from real civil rights.
