Does it matter if I don't take the placebo pills? I usually skip over them and don't take anything for that week, and when the week is over, start up again on the regular cycle. Do the placebo pills have anything such as nutrients that they return to my body from what I lost during my period (i.e. iron)?

No you don't need to take the placebo pills. They are there mostly just to help you remember to take your pill.
Also...you could skip them altogether and just start on your next pill pack. Then you wont get a period at all. Women do that alot for special occasions when they don't want to have their period.

It depends on the brand. Some have iron in the placebo week some don't. Ask your pharmacist the next time you get a refill. If your brand doesn't have iron then there is no reason to take them that week. Just make sure that you remember to start up again at the right time.

Placebo pills don't contain any medication, they're usually some type of sugar pills. They're just reminders to keep taking one pill each day so you'll know when to start the next cycle.

I don't take mine. They contain no hormones, they are just a reminder to keep taking your pill at the same time everyday.

I normally only take 3 days worth of mine.

I always toss mine. As long as you'll remember when to start on the new pack, then you'll be fine.
