every job i've ever had i've gotten bored with after a few months. that almost makes me scared to get a full-time job because that's something that i'll have to do for a matter of years! i dread having to do basically the same thing day in day out....i know if i get bored with my job, i generally get depressed, so i dont want to be depressed for a matter of years!!!

people with a full-time job who are out in the "real world" - what do you think of this?

Find a job that is different every day. I teach and find it rewarding and VERY interesting. Different problems every day. Different students yearly. Many jobs have this and you will find that all jobs have some variety. You have to look for it.

Don't worry about starting a career and stopping it. My brother was a restaurant manager until he was 36, then went to school again and became a nurse.

Take care.

There aren't many jobs that offer excitement but it's even worse if you get a job doing something you don't like.
My advice is find a job in a field where you can advance and set a goal to reach a certain point within say, two years.
Being bored is no reason to be broke. If you decide to quit your job, make sure you have another job to go to.
Answering this question is difficult because you didn't tell us what your skills are. If you have no skills then I would suggest that you further your education in an area that will lead you to what you find challenging.
Good luck with your future.

Full time jobs are a lot more involved than Part time jobs, so you should be fine.

Unless you have a full time job flipping burgers or something, then you may have a problem.
