maybe a nickname but not a surname

I'm Dutch, and this is not a Dutch surname that I've ever heard before.

However, it sounds like Sjoerd or Joeri which are first names.

Hope this helps

Jordi is a known first name and joeri is a known first name. I think you got the spelling wrong. The son of football-player Johan Cruyff is called Jordi. Foreigners pronounce it as joerdy, but that is not correct.
It is not a known last name.

never seen it as a surname.

Checked the dutch phonelisting in the 2 largest city's here, Amsterdam and Rotterdam, didn't come up with anything, so probably not, might be a first name though.

I've never heard of it, maybe it's a first name, like Joeri or Youri.
