I don't believe there is a specific term, as technically it should be written as first, second, third, etc. It is just the part of the ordinal that is not represented by a number. It is not really a suffix for all cardinal numbers, since what would be the root of first? Second?

Well, I searched for "ordinal suffix" on the web and I have found out that that they are actually calling it an ordinal suffix. Learn something new every day.
