You repeat this II World War thing 60 years after. Any country alone could stop the Nazis. The Bristish and Soviets hold them for 6 years, you entered in the final and clamed victory!

I have absolutely nothing against the French.... if it wasn't for the French we wouldn't be the United States of America today... if it wasn't for the French's appreciation when we helped them, we wouldn't have our Statue of Liberty today....
I was a little aggravated when Bush acted like the countries that didn't agree with the war and the French got the worst rap... making them look like cowards... I think we forget easily about our history and where we came from.... especially when it's not taught in school like it should be
No they should not have to agree with everything we do, they didn't want to get into the war, because they didn't believe it was right, so we should have said ok and moved on, not have the President stand on Tv and treat every country that didn't agree with us like cowards and enemies.. when they have always been our allies

I being an international man would say French are great as long as they keep their acidic wines and food away and don't impose their language and some stupid laws on me.As a matter of fact they never understood up till now that greatness of a culture always lies in humility and courtesy.Even an ignorant man could tell beforehand what is going to happen in Iraq.Did you know that president did not know the difference between Shite and Sunni.sects of Islam He and others thought that it is going to be a cake walk without realizing the complexities in the culture of Iraq.So French did not do any thing big by advising about Iraq.

Well, I don't know what was prooven to be right by the french about Iraq.
It's wrong to agree with someone just to shut them up.
The US doesn't hate Iraq. If we hated them we would have left Sadam there. Allowed him to continue torchering and slautering the Iraqi people.
PS: Did you guys forget France did help us during the American Revolution. They are also the ones that gave us the Statue of Liberty.

I don't care what France does or the French say. Talk about self-centered egotists.
No one should pretend to agree with anything they don't really agree with. I think the French just like to disagree even if they actually agree. This is just as bad, if not worse.
How do you know there has been a War? The French have surrendered.

what was so right about France. the french can't even control the population they have. the french are soft and I'm glad they are not with us. at the first sign of violence the french would pack up and leave the field of battle like they did in WW1. WW2. Vietnam. and many other places. the french are back stabbers. and quite frankly we don't care about your miserable smelly country. when Paris falls please don't come crying to us for help. with all the disagreeing that they do, it's not stopping french companies from getting a slice of the Iraqi pie right. the reason the french were so against the war was because they were doing big business with Saddam. against the Un's recommendations. the french are the worst.

"Who would not hate human beings?" very genuine. maximum human beings from different countries nevertheless, generalized. because of the fact they the two had a bad journey with one or 2 (or greater) human beings. Or they see how some adult men from our government take care of issues, and anticipate ALL human beings are as ignorant as that particular guy or woman(s). All and all, no you are able to desire to generalized all human beings in one group. Or absolutely everyone else for that count.

Because they refused, and still refuse, to kowtow to Washington.
Their doing so was in their national interests, just as it was claimed that invading Iraq was in the national interests of the US.
Which country's national interests do you think Paris feels is more important? France's, or the US's?
They disagreed with you. Get over it.

How was the French right about Iraq????
They were taking bribe money from Saddam....is THAT right? The French were WRONG in the fact that they wouldn't agree to sanctions against Iraq...all for oil and money.
Get your facts straight.

I think the French are great. All nationalities are great in one way or another.
Although many small minded people will disagree.
