Do not forget to count the stars in the US flag.
As I recall in the Star banner each star represent each states that sign the US constitution.
Their is 5 row of 6 stars and 4 row of 5 stars so 5 times 6 is 30 and 4 times 5 is 20. Add 30 and 20 to get 50.
Easy to remember.
