Dreamer oh dreamer, don't you love life, if you love life as such you can not be but romantic, and if any one say that he has not loved any one don't believe him, it is not true

Yes there is such a thing as love, once you find it you have to work at keeping it alive and never take advantage of it, been with my hubby for almost 25 years and we love the bones of each other, we never stop saying and meaning how much we love each other, we never stop working at our marriage either, love is wonderful, sometimes it hurts, but you have to have the good with the bad.

There is such a thing as love ..

And it's not just a feeling or emotion (as in what gives us warm fuzzies)

It's a mentality.

It affects our bodies physically and physiologically (not just lust).

It's also to do with the will.

It's state we can be in (not just a state of mind).

People say it colours our perception of how we see things. I'm not just talking about romance - cos we can love our country, our friends, our car, our football team, our family etc, etc.

But I think love is not deceptive - nor does it cloud our perception and thinking, it just does'nt engage with the bad but acknowledges the good (in truth).

yes

But it's a chemical imbalance in the brain that is triggered by an emotional connection, it acts like a drug because every time you see that certain person your brain rewards you with several 'feel good' chemicals like and you soon become addicted to the feeling so you go back for more, * that's why it can make us do stupid things.

*(parts of the pre-frontal cortex – a bit of the brain towards the front and implicated in social judgement – seems to get switched off when we are in love, as do areas linked with the experience of negative emotions such as aggression and fear as well as planning).

I believe there is such a thing as LOVE, however it requires such an undeniable commitment that many people never find true love.

One has to commit to ONE individual in the same manner as they are comitted to themselves.

Love is a chemical process that happens in the brain, but something has to trigger it. So I would say yes.

But for some people, the chemistry is wrong, and for them, love may take on a different meaning or not mean anything to them.

Heaven and Earth were created because of love. Mankind was formed because of love. Love is what binds families together. It is what creates families. Love is sacrifice. It heals and builds. Two people that love each other bear one another to heights unscalable by themselves.
