I'm a stay at home Mom and I do everything there is to be done. My husband is in the military and works 12-15 hour days and that doesn't leave much time for him to help out. My day starts at 7:00am and doesn't end until around midnight. Being a stay at home Mom is the hardest job out there and if you were to get paid for it, you'd be banking over 130,000.00!! I read it in an article on Mother's Day! I do all the laundry, cooking, cleaning, errands, child care, lunches, dishes and everything else that comes with the house and child. From one stay at home Mom to another, I totally understand. Maybe you and your hubby can set up a system that works best for you and your family. Take care.

I'm a stay at home mom to 2 boys and my hubby thinks my job is harder then his. Think about it, I get no pay, no ins. no overtime. My day starts at 3 am and don't end until midnite. I"m on the road all day paying all the bills and somewhere in that time frame, I have to cook supper. So yeah, he'll be the first to tell you my job is harder then his.

Well, some do and some don't. Some people don't realize what goes into having to be home with the kids, keeping the house clean, food preparation. It's tough work, someone has a problem tell them to bugger off.

Stay at home parents are expected to be miracle workers...
Especially, gourmet cooks, and expert house keepers!

absolutely. i do everything except complain about how messy the house is. and i do it with two kids and no help at all from him no matter what. he can not handle the kids by himself for a few hours, but he thinks it should be a cake walk for me. you need to develop a sense of humor about it.
