Mine was a 1980 Mecury Cougar. In 1993, my hubby (who was my boyfriend at the time) & I pitched in for it - it cost $800 Canadian. Today, I drive a 2000 Caravan (we have 2 kids) and he drives a 1994 GMC 4x4 truck.

My first car was a 1977 Ford Pinto station wagon that I bought from my brother for $400. It wasn't pretty but it was the best running car. I never had any trouble with it. The only thing I did was put new tires on it. I miss that car!

The first actual car I had was a 1990 Ford Tempo. I don't really count it, mostly because it almost never ran and I traded it in three months later.
The first car that I actually count would be a 1986 Pontiac Firebird. God, I loved that car.

A 1963 Corvetter Roadster I bought from my father on my 16th birthday. It is one of my five regrets that I had to get rid of it to go to college.
