They probably do according to Drake's equation. There are billions of billions of stars out there and if life evoles in just 1 out of every trillion solar systems, there would be thousands of different plantes with life.

Hasn't be proven true yet though.

Mathematically its very possible, infact i would be more shocked if there were no life found in the trillions on stars in the universe.

There are estimated to be about 500 billion stars in our galaxy alone. Multiply that by another 500 billion and you get a estimate of the amount of stars in our universe.

If aliens existed they have to be smarter then us, because the distances are too vast for them to travel to this planet.

So yes there must be aliens out there but no alien has contacted earth!

Here are some events that make life on earth possible:

For the proper solar system to exist you would need "main sequence" stars or middle aged stars because anything else would be to big or too small.

The sun is a middle aged star or a "main sequence star"

Life on earth exists because of a series of events that happened by accident.

Here is one event that was necessary:
If a mars sized planet did not hit the earth during the forment of the solar system then earth's axis would not be tilted and we would have no seasons. Look at mercury, no tilt no seasons - very hot or very cold

Other events:

Placement of planets in a solar system.

The way the planets orbit stars.

The proper satilites orbiting planets.

All these events have to happen for life to exist

We exist, and haven't abducted anyone for centuries. Over the centuries, your planet was a curious place to visit once or twice and was not considered very interesting . Sure, your wars showed us how undeveloped you are as a species and your infantile,(in cosmic terms) dependence on god concepts does not bode well for you. We are now showing an interest in you because it is not often that we get to observe a species commit suicide. You are so close to maturing as a sentient species and it will be a shame to see you kill yourselves. There are just not enough of you becoming rational enough to force the issue. You let the least among you determine your fate, so be it.

Statistically speaking, they almost certainly do. There are just such an overwhelming number of planets, that the odds of life arising on just one of them are unlikely to the point of being ludicris.

Abductions are equally ludicris, for the same reason. Given the appaling vastness of space, the chances of one intelligent species actually finding another make finding a needle in a haystack look like a sure bet. Imagine a haystack the size of Earth, and a needle the size of an electron and you won't be far off.

Nobody knows for sure. But I don't think its necessary to bring in aliens when a more logical explanations usually exist for things like disappearances.

it's the most interesting topic to discuss. project SETI (search 4 extra terrestrial intelligence) works on this topic. till now they have not got any satisfactory proof 4 such life bt still dey work on it with d hope dat one day with the advancement of technology me must shake our hand with those living in some other solar system, some other galaxy................... if we have such environmental condition 2 propogate life then may be dere are some unexplored part of the universe where life exists in some other form & dey r curious 2 know about us similar 2 what we feel about them.
