It's not specifically a feminine trait - but it is probably linked to being female.
She probably finds it hard to admit (even to herself) that she gets aroused by images. (Part of historic female 'not allowed to admit liking sex' issue). Men generally don't have this issue.
If it's still pictures - one or two might be OK as 'art' but after that it's simply porn - plain and simple. She'd have to admit liking porn.
Moving pictures - well maybe there's some story there to let you explain it as a 'film'. Bit like 'Basic Instinct' - erotic images with a story - so she tells herself she the story was good and enjoys the erotic images at the same time. Even if the film is more openly porn, you can still tell yourself you are watching a story.
And by the way: watching porn is personal preferences - it's OK if you do or if you don't. It doesn't make you 'class' because you don't watch it, and it doesn't make you a tramp if you do. I would suggest you are more likely to have a healthy balanced sex life if you do, but many get along happily without.

No. She's more interested in porno movies than in magazine photos.
And, no, this isn't a feminine trait. It's a trampy trait. Most women won't be interested in either one out of self-respect.
