Are there myths about the Tree of Life in Asia and Africa?

I know the Tree of Life is common in various forms in the mythology of Europe, the Middle East, India, and amongst Native Americans, and was wondering if this is a global concept.

Religion - a set of beliefs concerning the cause, nature,
and purpose of the universe often based on myth!

It seems to me this fits just about all human religions.

Why do we need religion anyway? It only seems to set us
one against another!

Do we embrace the notion of religion because we are to
frightened to acknowledge the possibility this is all
there is?

All contemporary religious dogma has failed humanity!

All contemporary religious dogma divides the human family!

All contemporary religious dogma causes too many tears!

The whole of humanity longs for something that will bring
us all together as Family. Something that will allow us to
embrace our unity.

Nothing I see on Earth today makes this possible!!!

Have fun but be safe.
