12 year is a long time to be at the bottom what is your opinion?

Detroit Tigers is the Cinderella team this year in my book. They will take on the New York Mets in the World Series and the Tigers will win it in 6 games.

They've got a better than 50-50 chance to win it all no matter who they face (Cards or Mets)
Besides the obvious upper hand they'll have with pitching (their rotation being rested and setup strategically) the National League representative will be up against a Tiger team that is on an unstoppable roll WITH home field advantage.
If the Tigers lose the Series, it will indeed be an upset.

Not only do The Tigers have a chance to win the World Series, but they will EXCEL AND BEAT THE YOU KNOW WHAT OUT OF WHOEVER THEY PLAY!
I laugh when I see that Mut fans think they are going to win!

What do you mean bottom. They were in 4th place while KC was in 5th last year. But yes I do believe they have a very good chance I am only concerned about the extra time off.

Yes they do, they have Leyland as the manager, a good young pitching staff and a great catcher who can handle them. But anything can happen in the WS. The Tigers are definately favored, but being from STL, I have to say go Cards!

Oh Yeah!!! The Tigers are definately gonna win...no question!!! Our pitching is suberb, Granderson and Monroe are pretty much "givens" to get on base, no one can steal home cuz of Pudge and Magglio?............ Well, he's just The MAN!!!! Bless You Boys...this is the year!! GoOoOoOo TIGERS!!!!

They have a 50/50 chance. They are hot and have great pitching so yes they have a GREAT chance

I hope so, I've been a Detroit loyal for 6 years, and it would be so nice! Knowing they aren't last, and actually have a chance almost brings a tear to my eye!

I think that them sitting around waiting for the National League to come up with a winner will hurt them more than if they played straight through.
Thats how they won it all up to now. Non-stop.
