depends how old you are and how much NI contibutions you've made, if you're renting you get loads paid for. jobseekers is only about 50 quid a week, and hopefully you'll get loads of redundancy pay xxx

You would be entitled to £59 week but with housing being partially paid for, ie, if you have a mortgage, the intrest would be paid for, also a reduction in council tax.
However, if you have children, you may find you are better with tax credits.

You would both be entitled to job seekers allowance contribution based benefit, for six months, as you have both paid tax/NI.
I don't know how much exactly though.
