Go to programs, accessories and then the command line. Type IPconfig and it will give you the IP of your computer. If you find that difficult - there is a link on the home Page of my website - it looks like a clock - go to that site and it will tell you your IP. It will also tell you your download and upload speed. Then go to connect to and disconnect from the internet and reconnect and check your iP again. Most people have a dynamic IP. It is assigned when you connect - so to stop an email being traced you can keep changing your IP by disconnecting from the Internet. This doesn't work with static IPs. Maybe Anonymiser - will do that - I didn't try it with email - but it makes your IP anonymous when visiting web sites. Find anonymiser by typing it in to Google.

Sounds a bit of "Skullduggery" to me. If you are sending or transmitting 'legit' correspondence , why on earth would you want to be hidden?. Most computer software is 'defensive' (personal firewalls & virus protection). Unless you are spreading them , naughty , naughty , naughty.
