If you've been snorkeling, or diving, what's the most amazing thing you've seen?

Hey Spike! I live in Islamorada. Haven't been to John Pennekamps yet, but several reefs down this way!

I' ve gotten a hair cut, under water. it ran me about $100, but my hair looks great!

Looking up at the bow and bowsprit of the Arabia at 120 ft, an 1850's era Barque located in Tobermory's Fathom Five Marine Park, Ontario.

St. Thomas - Scuba Diving.... we went down to a sunken ship that had turned into a reef and saw some of the most beautiful and colorful fish and creatures I have ever known.

I've seen a squid completely camouflaged among some coral reefs. You should have seen it, there's no way anyone could have known a squid is there and suddenly it moved and squirts the ink on me before escaping. An amazing sight i'll never forget.

I think its a treat to the eye if you are snorkeling in water with corals, I have seen the most beautiful of the corals, colorful fish in hawaii

i live in Florida and snorkeling in the right places is gorgeous!! coral reefs with all the beautiful and awesome colors and plant life-fishes sponges shells ect... also as i was swimming another time a manatee actually came up under-neath me and raised me up on its back and swam with me!! they are so awesome and gentle! also i have been boating in the gulf and 5 dolphins were showing off.........it was great...i could go on but i think you get the picture.

i go snorkling every so often at john pennycamps coralreef state park on key largo i think any way the most unusal thing i ever saw was a huge sea turtle i could have ridden on its shell with 2 other people it was collosil wow

it's actually the uncomparable paradise under the water. I never realized how relaxing it is to view those creatures enjoying the world under.... :-)
