The doctor will feel your uterus and make sur eit is back to normal size or getting there and possibly look inside to see if everything looks good.

at mine....the Dr. did a vaginal exam to check on the bleeding ..and did a belly check ..this kinda hurts...to make sure that the uterus is shrinking back down ...talked about birth control options...and took some blood to check my iron level(but My iron would not even register when I was pregnant and this is not normal) hope this helps out some it was not bad at all and I was only in about 15 minutes

Check your uterus and cervix to make sure it's almost back to normal, do a pap smear and ask how you're feeling and if you're still bleeding. They'll also ask what kind of birth control you want if any.

It is pretty much like a first pregnancy check up....Weight, urine, blood is checked....Pap smear is done....tummy is mashed on....incisions (if any) are checked....talks about methods of birth control......Usually you are finished bleeding when the check up rolls around...I only bleed maybe 4-5 days after giving birth.....

The doctor usually does a pelvic exam and a pap smear. If you've had an annual check-ups then you know what happens.

the doc will check you to make sure your healing ok and they also talk to you about any emotional things happening with you(making sure your not depressed) Also asks you if you have help at home and about birth control. If your nursing there are only certain meds that you can take.

Doc check to see if all is well, checks stitches if any. Asks about moms general well being. This is the time to for a prescription if you still have hemrroides.

they do a pap smear to make sure everything is healed correctly and then they check your uterus to make sure it is getting smaller, thats basically it and then they will ask if you want birth control
