He was separated from his wife of 8 yrs when we met she really did him wrong she cheated twice and just dogged him out now she wants him back. he says he cares for me as much as i do but he has to try again with his wife and see if shes changed. can you be friends with someone who broke your heart should i even try im just having a rough time figuring this out i dont want to let him go should i try to keep him

There is nothing you can do to "keep" him. If he wants to be with you, he will. It's clear that he is not over his wife.. do you want to be with someone that in love with someone else?

Sweetie, I know that this is hard.
If he is willing to work it out with his wife after 8 years of separation then he really loves his wife and values marriage. In this case you should also value their marriage, if you really care about him. You don't want to be a problem in their marriage. You also don't need to feel like you are a second alternative. While staying close to him may be tempting it will only hurt more.
I hope this helps dear, mandy.

You should never fall in love with someone elses man. You had it coming wheather they were split up or not in the end she still belonged to him and it is none of your business or concern

the guy above me is just trying to get with you.....honey lmfao

If you have kids with the person you should try to remain friends, other than that I see no reason to remain friends. Unless he is still hopelessly in love with her and thinks that counseling can help their marriage I say they should go for it.

Let him go. YOu wouldn't want him unless he wanted to be with you, right? SOunds like he still has some things to work out with the ex.

you should let him go, if he loves you then he will return, but don't try to be friends because that will probably cause problems with his wife.
