You should not stop your child from using Yahoo. It is a good site. The best solution would be if you could talk to your child and try to persuade her to stop this behavior. One thing I don't understand, you say you can not monitor her, but you know as a fact, that she acts inappropriately. Who is the source? Could it be someone who wants to get her in trouble with her parent? Does you daughter have access to a computer at her home?
Something is amiss here.

It might be a bit unorthadox, but many parents do this. Spy on her. Don't bring it to light unless she's doing something really stupid.
Educate yourself first. You'll need to know what "lol" and "brb" means before you can do anything.
Go to Yahoo and Google and search her real name, nick name, username(s), and email(s). It will bring up a good amount of blog enteries, and guestbooks signed that will lead you to many of the websites she's visiting. She might just be curious about college for all you know, or she might be trying to hook up with a 45 year old psycho??? More than likely she wants to find out about a tattoo, cool new clothes and what boys are cute. All of which are innocent, and usually just a phase.
Last check myspace. Get a username there, and check it. This one is terrible for social predators, and Yahoo (as unsafe as it can be) doesn't come close to the nasties that you'll find on MySpace. If she has pics of herself in underwear online, it'll be there!
THIS WILL BUILD SOME DISTRUST. So don't do it, unless you've talked to her already, and you fear for her safety.

You really can't. Unless you block Yahoo from any and every computer she might ever possibly use.
Rather than trying to prevent it which will be extremely difficult, I would suggest talking to her and finding out why she's doing such things, why she thinks it's okay. She needs to be taught that it's not okay and that it's dangerous. If you can't get through to her, she probably shouldn't be allowed to go to her friends. It's a little late to be trying to teach her how to be responsible and trying to train her to listen to you but it's worth a shot.

Tell her friend's parents to block the site. It can be blocked through Internet Explorer, or whatever browser they use.
