I have looked all over and cannot find anything similar to this. My right ear hurts, but only when I take in a breath. I don't have an infection, and I don't have TMJ.
Has anyone anywhere had anything similar..?
I have yet another doctor's appt tomorrow and I'm not leaving until I get some sort of answer. Imagine pain every time you took in a breath. After a month, you'd be going nuts, too.
Has anyone had anything like this..? Please tell me that you had it and were able to fix it easily... please... I'm going crazy...

Is there reason to believe that ear drum is broken? Have you had a trauma to the head. I once had excruciating pain after flying and it was because there was pressure on the ear drum that did not go away when the flight was over. In our head and mouth area, everything ties together so your pain could be caused by something wrong with your nose, trachea, eyes. Please post your answer when you find out what is wrong.

If it gets worse I recommend going to a physician because of the fact some infections can get severe once you do no longer preserve it. additionally, examine your temp!
