Who the heck is ZabaSearch.com and how do they get all your personal information and most importantly, how do you remove your stuff from there. All my business is on there and at the top of their page it states Public Record. I think thats some bull. I want my stuff off of there.

Zaba Search has been around for more than a year (that I'm aware of.) I contacted them to remove personal info about myself and my company. They sent me a form to fill out asking that I "verify personal data" to make sure they deleted the correct files. According to my state's Attorney General, had I submitted that form, all of the info would have been added to their data base since it would have been submitted voluntarily (without threat or coercion.)

Bottom line: the company collects info from various public records available to all of us. As much as I disagree with what they're doing, apparently it's not illegal (at least according to the State of Texas.) They can access court house records, motor vehicle records, land appraisal district records, utility records, and the list goes on and on. I don't have an answer how you can remove info from their site without actually adding to their data base. :-(

plrr

I felt the same way!! I read somewhere on their site you must submit your request in writing through snail mail.

Good luck!!
