I have just purchased the following upgrade kit:
Pentium 4 d945 dual core processor
ECS P4M800PRO-M motherboard
1gb DDR 400mhz sdram
Suza advance vision case and 550wat PSU
All for £225 , is this a good settup or have I been scammed ?
What is the D945 like,,, ? anygood ?
Can anyone tell me if I have brought a monkey , or is this settup any good ?

YES the board does have onbaord graphics 64mb shared, it laso has 6 channel sound, 1mb bit lan, 4 USB2 slots,
May graphics are nvidea gforce 5950ultra platinum 256 mb's.
So don't need the GPU, as for sound, I have a creative audigy 2 platinum, so don't need the onboard sound either.

Looks pretty good to me...the price is fine too (for a dual-core CPU).

225 isn't a lot of money for a Dual C. CPU. The intel 945 chipset is OK i have it my self. I'm not to sure about your memory it's 400 MHz , since your mainboard is capable of 800 MHz i would suggest to buy new memory It will surely boost your system.

what abt graphis ??? does da mother board has inbuilt graphics card if ye how much?? i suppose u have a graphics slot for mentioned mohter board.. just check it out if u have 128MB graphics den its cool.. dual core reallly rockzz..
