He is doing records search for information on me to see if I have a record. He called my girlfriend's lawyer on me because he got me confused with another person with a similar name that has a record. He is in trouble because he is being sued for child support and is trying to come up with ways to not pay up !

You might not be able to stop him. If you have any secrets that he's going to dig up, it would be best if you tell her yourself than to have him tell her or a lawyer. Let her know how things stand so that if there is anything that could ruin her chances for child support, she'll know that, and then can make a decision from there. Ask your lawyer if there are ways to stop him, and let the judge know about his behaviour if you go to court. Other than that, I don't know that there is much more you can do unless you can find a way to get a restraining order, which really, they don't really do that much from all I've seen. :(

This is partly up to your girlfriend... she needs to tell him to stop this! Also, contact your lawyer and ask him to type up a mildly threatening letter to this guy to cease his activities or you will file a harassment suit against him. That will probably scare him. Other than that, I'm not sure what you can legally do.

Doesnt matter if she is even living with you,, the formula is based on them still being married,,
if you end up in court over it, tell the judge he is harassing you all
