goin for scan today dating scan might mention to them cant carry on like this .

i had twins 10 yrs ago had similar pains at back end off pregnancy i think due to wait, im not half that size yet so why????

You must check with the doc but I got a sciatic pain when pregnant so it might be that which I think quite a few folk suffer from when pregnant. Even 2 years after giving birth to my last child I am still suffering with bouts of sciatica. A physio will be able to help you.

Another thing I developed with no 1 was symphasis pubis spearation which made walking very sore indeed! That carried on with being pregnant the 2nd time.

Any pain at all should be checked out with your doctor. Remember, during pregnancy you can never be too safe. This is why you pay the doc's the big bucks. But, most likely, and especially if this is your first pregnancy, it is something as simple as your muscles stretching. I remember having sharp pains and they ended up turning into a sort of burning. It was my muscles, stretching for the growing baby. Of course, there are other alternatives...maybe a pinched nerve. But, like I said before, this is something that you shouldn't be afraid to call your doctor for. Even if you are one of those people that are quiet when in pain, this is for your baby. Even if you are pretty sure everything is ok, just a little worried. Call anyway. The Doc, as long as they are worth a crap, will be happy to set your mind at ease.

I had the same situation. Your body is just stretching out...and the pain will subside in a couple of weeks. Definitely mention it to your doctor though, you don't want to take any chances! Good luck with your pregnancy!

Sounds like the round ligament pain - your body stretching and relaxing to get ready for birth. I went through it around the same time. I will eventually go away.

Most pregnancy discomforts at this stage will fade. Make sure you warm up b/4 walking, in case it's muscular and always stretch after (gently of course)

its probably your muscles stretching. don't be surprised if they tell you the same thing it seems to be the answer for all pain.
i just gave birth but i had back surgery before i got pregnant and my back still hurts but when i mentioned it they said muscles stretching.

You need to check with your doctor...having sharp pains in your lower abdomen mostly on one side is a sign of a ectopic pregnancy.

yea that happens in your early months, but let me tellyou when you get 40 weeks you, going to want to walk around alot clean up and everything, becasue thats what ive been doing latley. but n-e way congratulations
