You really need to find out WHY your back hurts. Whether it's arthritis, injury, and the extent of the damage causing the pain.

Some believe in Chiropracters. Good for simply poor alignment of spine and poor posture. If it's from an injury, a doctor will have to find out if it's a permanent damage or one that with care will heal.

No one with any sense could give you a definitive answer. Heating pads and OTC pain relievers can help, but they will only do so much.

goody powder in the red box is the quickest pain relief and it works faster than aleve. also try camphor by watkins, a hot saltwater bath epsom salt is better. heat and ice on and off for 1 hour also helps alternate every 15 minutes. be careful with alot of aspirin meds too they can harm your liver, and if all else fails, I know you dont want to hear it, but go to the doc. I hate going to the doctor, I avoid it also. try these they work for me. good luck to you

go to Dunham sports and get yourself an inversion board and use it, regular exercise and get yourself a good mattress, I can't believe all these people just suggesting drugs, they are not the answer, exercise a firmer mattress and a decent night sleep everynight is your answer, if you just keep taking pain pills you will eventually build up a tolerance and just need more and more
