You should talk to the doctor who performed or will be performing the operation. They will tell you this. Dont listen to people on here who DO NOT have a PHd or doctorate. Good luck.

I think its close to six weeks. And as someone previously mentioned its probably best to check with a doctor or since your asking cause you or someone close has has one perhaps that shouldve been something to ask while "the procedure" was happening. I dont think there should be any rush, an abortion is both physically and emotionally scaring, and anyone who cares wouldnt be looking to get put back there anytime soon. Take time and heal properly.

After a D&C no matter the reason (miscarriage, abortion, cancer...) there is a 6 week period of abstinance.
