Dont understand why you were looking for candlesticks if there was the option for cake!

Its cake everytime lady! Its the answer to all lifes problems!

You certainly have the ability to work your way over, under or through a given problem. Sounds a bit sticky and impractical in the long run though. Have you considered:- getting an electricity supply (some of the newer houses have it apparently), or, buying a torch (remember that they require batteries), or, buying a guide bat (bit expensive, but excellent navigators in the dark)?

Depends. Does the cake have pink icing and sprinkles? If so then cake, cake, cake. If not get some choccy biscuits, or some doughnuts, or gingerbread men. Too many bakery products, can't choose!

Since you can't bake a cake during a power outage, then sure, buy the cake, any flavour you like, and eat it in the dark until the power comes back on...

You need to make sure its a brandy cake. That way you can light it just like a candle.
